Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Bookkeeping By Jenn, we value your time and appreciate your respect for ours. This Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy is designed to ensure efficient scheduling and availability for all clients.
Consultations
Clients may cancel or reschedule a scheduled consultation at no charge by providing at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the forfeiture of any consultation fee paid, if applicable.
Missed Appointments (No-Shows)
A "no-show" occurs when a client fails to attend a scheduled meeting, phone call, or virtual appointment without prior notice.
For missed appointments:
- The appointment may be considered completed.
- Any consultation fees paid may be non-refundable.
- Future appointments may require prepayment.
Monthly Bookkeeping Services
Monthly bookkeeping services are ongoing service agreements and are not based on individual appointments.
Clients wishing to discontinue recurring bookkeeping services must provide at least 30 days written notice before the next billing cycle.
The client remains responsible for payment of all services performed through the termination date.
Catch-Up & Clean-Up Projects
For one-time bookkeeping projects, including catch-up and clean-up work:
- Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun.
- If a project is canceled before work starts, any refund will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Work completed prior to cancellation will be billed accordingly.
Client Delays
Timely completion of bookkeeping services depends on the client providing requested documents and information.
If requested information is not received within a reasonable timeframe:
- Project timelines may be extended.
- Additional fees may apply if substantial rework becomes necessary.
- Services may be paused until required information is received.
Rescheduling Requests
We understand that unexpected situations arise.
Clients may request to reschedule meetings, consultations, or review sessions by contacting us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate scheduling changes.
Emergency Situations
Bookkeeping By Jenn reserves the right to waive cancellation fees or modify scheduling requirements due to emergencies, severe illness, natural disasters, or other extraordinary circumstances.
